Arrow Valentine's for my Pre-Schooler

This year I needed to pull together Valentine's for my son to pass out at pre-school.....

....ok, so maybe his class passed out Valentine's last year, too, but I was three days away from delivering our second son, so I may have forgot to send something with him.....

...so this year I'm trying to make up for that, I suppose....

(...it just so happened that my new entry table display works perfectly for this photo shoot, as well!  This isn't decorated specifically for Valentine's Day, it just sort of happened this way...and I love my new $3 black and white scarf from Walmart and my $5 Ikea pillow case turned art....

Has anyone seen this idea on Pinterest:

I loved it and decided I HAD TO DO IT.....and then I remembered that our pre-school is a nut free school and all the little chocolate hearts I found were not 100% guaranteed nut free......SO, not ready to give up on this cute and so easy little printable, I improvised a little....I printed these out on art paper (cheaper than card stock) and used heart stickers as the arrow...

..so I bought these little bags in the jewelry aisle at Hobby Lobby - while I was there picking up paper for another project - and filled them with Teddy Graham's.......most little 3 and 4 year old's love Teddy Graham's, no?  They are a nut free, non-choking hazard, tasty little treat.....

So easy and cute!

Happy Valentine's Day!

  2. I'll bet he stole a few hearts with those cute valentines. I love the way you adapted the idea with the heart sticker. So cute!
